The North Face Dawnstrike GTX Insulated Jacket is an insulated men's ski jacket with a 2-layer GORE-TEX shell and synthetic fill. It is made for skiing and snowboarding. This version comes in TNF Black.
The GORE-TEX shell is waterproof, windproof and breathable. Both the face fabric and the lining have a non-PFC DWR finish. The insulation is Heatseeker Eco Pro, made with microfibre technology. The North Face says it offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, packs down well and recovers its loft. There is 60 g in the upper body and 40 g in the hood, sleeves and lower body. Stretch-knit wrist gaiters with thumbholes sit inside the cuffs. The stretch powder skirt has silicone grip tape and a clip that attaches it to your trousers. Underarm vents let you dump heat.
