The Anon Logan WaveCel is a light snow helmet with WaveCel technology and ten passive vents. It weighs 424 grams. This version comes in Beechwood.
The shell is in-mold, with a light polycarbonate shell fused to an EPS liner. That keeps the helmet slim and close to the head. Inside sits WaveCel, a cellular structure Anon compares to hundreds of interconnected shock absorbers between your head and the shell. On impact the cells distribute the energy and absorb the force. They then redirect rotational energy away from the head. The vents draw fresh air in at the front and pull moisture out at the back, and the WaveCel material shows through them. They are passive, so there is nothing to open or close. Snow stopper fabric in the vents keeps snow out and warmth in. The BOA Fit System sits inside the shell and wraps all the way around your head. A dial gives micro adjustments. It also raises and lowers the helmet across eight positions, so the brim meets the goggle exactly. The ear pads are thermoformed. They are slim, leave room for earbuds and help you hear what is around you. The Fidlock buckle closes magnetically and works with one hand, gloves on. Anon lists freestyle as the terrain type.
