The Starboard Lima Tufskin is a three-piece adjustable SUP paddle with a Tufskin blade and a filament wound carbon shaft. The blade is based on the shape of Starboard's Lima paddles, and this version has the stiff S35 shaft.
The blade is concave and cupped. The concave on the power face guides the water through the blade, controls wobble and increases flow speed. The edge is rounded at the tip to separate the water smoothly, then becomes sharper to guide the water and stabilise the blade. The slim profile lets you pull the blade very close to the rail, and the large tip area gives forward motion even when the blade is not fully submerged. The Tufskin blade is made from strong, extremely durable ABS foils, and the slim profile saves 15 g. The round shaft is 29 mm in diameter. With filament winding, all yarns are under tension for consistent stiffness and flex. The Super Handle has a flat top and wide grip for more leverage on the blade. The three pieces connect with a spring pin and an additional clamp that removes play, and fully detached the paddle measures only 87 cm. The wide Tiki clamp releases quickly and easily.
