Scott Explorair 3L Jacket is a shell jacket built for ski touring. It is made from DRYOsphere, a waterproof and breathable 3-layer fabric. This version comes in Portobello Beige.
DRYOsphere is Scott's own membrane fabric. It keeps water and wind out and lets moisture from your body escape. Waterproofing is rated at 15,000 mm and breathability at 10,000 g/m²/24h. Full underarm vents let you dump heat when you warm up on the way up. The hood is attached and helmet compatible. The jacket has a powder skirt, adjustable cuffs and a regular fit. There are hand pockets and a sleeve pocket for your lift pass. Inside you get a goggle pocket with a detachable goggle cloth. The shell fabric is recycled polyamide, and the DWR finish is PFC free. The jacket weighs about 550 grams. It can be machine washed at 30°C and tumble dried on low heat. Skip the fabric softener to keep the water repellent finish working. It is part of Scott's Re-source line.
