The Heli Ski Female Mitt in black and offwhite is a very warm women's mitten, originally created for ski guides in western Canada for long, cold days in the snow.
The women's version has a narrower fit that follows women's narrower hands. The mitten construction gives plenty of room for the fingers, so they share warmth and make the mitten warmer than the equivalent glove. The shell combines army goat leather with Hestra triton polyamide, which is windproof, water-resistant and breathable. The insulation is G-Loft with high insulating capacity that stays warm even in wet weather, and inside sits a removable brushed-polyester liner. The long cuff has a snow lock, and elastic at the wrist gives a close hold. A strap with a Velcro closure adjusts the fit, and a carabiner makes it easy to hang the mitten up to dry.
