The Hestra Heli Ski Female is a women's three-finger ski glove, originally created by Hestra for ski guides in western Canada who needed a reliable and warm glove for long, cold days in the snow. The colour is Pale grey/Offwhite.
The glove has a slimmer cut that follows women's narrower hands, yet is sewn in the same hardwearing, weather-resistant combination of army goat leather and Hestra's triton polyamide fabric as the men's version. The insulation is G-Loft, a thin polyester fibre with high insulating capacity that dries quickly and stays breathable, while the removable brushed-polyester lining sits soft against the skin and is easy to pull out and dry. The three-finger construction adds a little more warmth while keeping some finger dexterity. A long cuff with snow lock and adjustable wrist keeps the snow out, and a wrist strap with hook-and-loop closure together with an included carabiner secures the glove when it is taken off. The glove is produced at Hestra's own factory in Hai Phong, Vietnam.
