The Leki Guide Lite Jr. is an adjustable ski touring pole for kids and teens. It has a two-section aluminium shaft that you set to any length with Speed Lock Plus. This one comes in Denimblue/Darkblue/Cyan.
The shaft is HTS 5.5 aluminium, where HTS stands for Heat Treated Shaft. At 16 and 14 mm in diameter, the tube is kept slightly slim to save weight while staying stable. Speed Lock Plus is an external clamp that adjusts easily and has high holding force. The grip has a soft surface for a firm hold without slipping. A foam extension below the grip makes it easy to choke down on steep terrain or traverses, so there are several grip positions to choose from. The strap adjusts to the hand. The compact Cobra basket keeps the pole from sinking into the snow and swaps by hand. The Flex Tip is a robust tip for precise pole plants and good grip on almost any terrain.
