Glide Surf High Performance

The NeilPryde Glide Surf HP is a complete surf foil with a 70cm aluminium mast and a short fuselage. It takes off fast and stable no matter the surf conditions. This is the 2021 version.

The foil delivers long glide and controlled speed, so you can fly through the sections. You can progress from straight riding to proper foil turns and pump from one wave to the next. The shorter fuselage keeps the foil manoeuvrable, and the shorter mast gives you access to shallower breaks. The base is CNC reinforced. Two deep titanium vertical tubes connect it to the mast. They hold the joint tight, transfer the load and stop vibration around the upper attachment. You choose the base system to suit your sport. The mast is tempered 6061-T6 aluminium that resists salt water corrosion. It is hollow to save weight, and three vertical cross-ribs keep it stiff. The trailing edge is sanded to avoid turbulence noise. The CNC machined fuselage blends smoothly into the wings with an integrated wing saddle for minimal drag. It has no forward protruding nose, which saves aluminium and weight. The wings are pre-preg carbon with a foam core and roll naturally into turns. The front wing has a rounded angle of attack and an elliptical bend, and its thick leading edge tightens the turn by itself. The angled down tail wings self-stabilise and return to flat, steadying the turn.
