The GA Sails Pilot is a cam-free freeride sail from GA Windsurfing for riders who want a good blend of performance and quality. It suits smooth freeride sessions as well as your first steps into the footstraps. This one is the 2021 model in 4.5 m2 and Red.
The relaxed luff curve makes the sail compatible with masts from almost any brand, which is why GA calls it an economical sail for families. Super-smooth batten rotation, progressive pull and a back-hand profile give enough power to move and manoeuvre even heavier, older boards. The construction is light and cam-free, so the sail is easy to rig and handle. The deep profile maximises low-end power, and the Dacron luff panel gives a softer feel and smooth power. The head is adjustable. For the 4.5 m2, GA lists a 400cm SDM mast with IMCS 19, a 153cm boom, a 407cm luff and four battens.
