The JP Funster EVA 2026 is one of JP's best beginner and family boards, super wide for maximum stability and easy handling, so everybody is sailing back and forth after just a few hours. It is more than a pure beginner board: it can get you to the planing barrier of a large freeride board, offering potential for the more advanced rider too.
A full EVA deck with a microdot structure gives good grip and comfort, and a colour-coded Intuitive Guide Pad helps the rider find the right standing position on the board. A retractable daggerboard gives stability, safety and easy upwind sailing, carrying straps on the nose and tail let two people carry the board easily, and multiple footstrap positions suit all levels, from inboard plugs for beginners to outboard for sporty cruising. The ES+EVA construction is soft on the outside but very strong inside: a durable, impact-resistant hard shell covered with an EVA pad, robust rail protection tape and extra reinforcements in the nose, tail and standing area. The board comes with a Fun fin and daggerboard in a Powerbox.
