The Reedin FlightAttendant Front Wing is a mid-aspect hydrofoil front wing. Reedin calls the series its all-rounders: easy take-off, stiffness and ventilation resistance on a mid-aspect platform. It is made from pre-preg carbon.
The design targets better turning, more glide and above all predictability. That helps you progress from flat-water learning to big jumps and fully ventilated turns. The mid-aspect ratio increases the glide-to-turn ratio. The wing is flatter, with a less aggressive overall curvature, for more speed and better ventilation resistance. The airfoil has a very low stall speed and a high stall angle, so you get on foil easily with a wide range of boards and sails, and it helps when you land jumps. Curved wingtips stop ventilation from moving up the wing near the surface. This generation has slightly flatter, straighter tips. The front wing and stabilizer are matched to each other, which allows a short fuselage and a foil that is stable and easy to manoeuvre. The hyperstatic front wing connection is very rigid, for direct control from your feet to the foil.
- Mid-aspect front wing in pre-preg carbon
- Low stall speed and high stall angle
- Curved wingtips against ventilation
- Hyperstatic front wing connection
- Pairs with Reedin's MA stabilizers
- Simple assembly and maintenance
The FlightAttendant is an all-round front wing for everything from first flights on flat water to waves and jumps.
