Family Tree 3D Deep Daze

The Burton Family Tree 3D Deep Daze is a powder and all-mountain snowboard. Its shape takes inspiration from modern surfboard design. Burton developed it with its team riders through prototypes and rider testing.

The nose and tail have convex 3D shaping like a surfboard, while the base stays traditional through the middle. The middle holds an edge, and the convex ends stay catch-free. The profile is flat with a rocker nose, which keeps the board stable and lifts the nose in deep snow. The nose is longer than the tail, and 20mm of taper makes the board turn easily. The flex is directional, with more pop in the tail and a more resilient nose. The core is Super Fly II 700G with Dualzone EGD. Wood grain runs along the toe and heel edges, perpendicular to the core, for more edge hold and response. 45° Carbon Highlights adds a carbon layer from nose to tail that cuts weight and fine-tunes torsional feel. The Sintered WFO base has wax infused deep into a dense, recycled sintered material. On the 154 cm board, the waist width is 255mm and the sidecut radius is 6.2m.
