The Starboard Enduro Carbon is an all-round SUP paddle for surf and flat water. This version has a 2-piece adjustable 29 mm Carbon shaft with flex 35.
The blade has a teardrop shape with a wide tip. That gives a powerful catch and a fast start when you need to get onto a wave. The wide tip also delivers power when the blade is not buried deep in the water, and it makes the paddle stable. That is why Starboard recommends the Enduro for beginners. Four pronounced concaves give a precise catch from the start and let the water flow smoothly around the blade. The 13-degree blade angle pushes you forward quickly to catch waves and keeps cruising on flat water easy. The blade is laminated in 3K carbon over a light PVC core, and carbon filament in the rails adds impact strength. In the middle of the shaft, a spiral-textured layer gives a firm grip without grip tape. The 2-piece shaft is easy to transport and lets you set the paddle up for the board and the conditions. An anti-twist inner keeps the blade aligned, and the wide clamp releases easily and lets less water in.
