HEAD Pure Joy is an on-piste ski for intermediate to advanced women who want a forgiving and versatile ski. It comes as a set with the JOY 9 GW SLR binding.
The Better Balance base gives a constant ramp angle whatever the length of your boot sole. It puts you in an optimum position, which makes the ski forgiving and easy to turn. A lightweight core and a 75 mm waist add quickness on piste. The new sidecut makes the ski forgiving and accessible to a wide range of skiers. EMC absorbs unwanted vibrations for a smoother ride. The profile is Allride Rocker with 20% tip rocker and 80% camber. That blend handles groomed runs as well as a bit of soft snow. At 163 cm the shape is 121-75-107 mm and the turning radius is 13.1 m.
The JOY 9 GW SLR is a light binding. Its lightweight heel unit lets women and young skiers ski almost effortlessly. The binding weighs 715 g per piece. The SLR PRO base has a wider contact area for better power transmission without affecting the natural flex of the ski. The Full Diagonal Toe releases through 180 degrees, both horizontally and vertically. Stand height is 28 mm, and the binding works with adult alpine and GripWalk boots.
