The Cabrinha Drifter is the benchmark for wave riding, and the 2025 model has had one of its biggest updates to date. This version comes in Orange/White.
The Drifter is a three-strut hybrid with a moderate aspect ratio, built for performance surf and freestyle surf, including down-the-line riding, wave riding, freestyle tricks and foiling. A chopped surf/drift wingtip with shorter tip sections gives fast, clean drift when the kite has to follow you down the wave. For 2025 the kite is built in the Apex range's Ultra HT, a strong, stable and responsive material, combined with Pure Form panels for an accurate aerofoil and a Teijin D2 ripstop canopy that is light, high-performing and highly durable. Featherlite bladders, trailing-edge EVA battens, sleeved low-elongation bridles, durable TPU leading-edge bumpers and the Sprint 3.0 bridle system complete the build. The kite weighs from 1.70 kg on the smallest model up to 2.78 kg on the largest and covers a broad wind range, so you can hold speed in both fresh and lighter wind.
