The K2 Cortex 110 BOA is a low-volume ski boot for skiers who want a close fit and precision without the race boot attitude. It combines the BOA Fit System with a 110 flex.
Cortex is the lowest volume in K2's MultiFit last. True LV Fit gives K2's narrowest heel and ankle while leaving a little room in the forefoot and toe box. The BOA dial delivers micro-adjustment for a secure fit. Energy Bolt Spine is a bolted rear cuff. It gives strong rearward support and a precise forward flex. Remove the top bolt and the cuff responds more progressively with a slower rebound. The liner holds Ski Edge Sensitivity shims that tune how quickly the ski tips onto its edge. On the inside of the cuff they make the ski quicker to edge, which suits slower, precise skiing. On the outside they make the ski calmer and more stable at speed. Dual cuff alignment adjusts 2 degrees either way. The EliteFit Plus liner uses plush foam, and its tongue attaches with Velcro in the toe box so you can adjust it. Shell and cuff are heat-moldable, and a softer TPU instep makes entry quick. A 40 mm Velcro power strap closes the cuff. GripWalk soles come preinstalled.
