The Lange Code 130 BOA LV GW is a freeride ski boot with a 130 flex, a walk mode and tech inserts. Lange built it for full downhill power and efficient travel uphill. The 97 mm low-volume last gives precise control.
The shell is polyether, which is durable and stable as temperatures change. It is built with Dual Core, where hard and soft plastics are injected at the same time. The softer core sits inside the rigid plastic, so the shell compresses and springs back as you drive forward. The flex is stiff and progressive. The Reactive Boost tongue adds a dynamic flex and more rebound. Active Blade is the walk mechanism. In ski mode it has the solid feel of a traditional overlap boot, and in walk mode the cuff moves freely. The Friction Free Hinge gives the cuff an efficient 54° range of motion, so your stride stays fluid and less tiring when skinning or hiking. The BOA Fit System with H+i1 adjusts in small steps and wraps the shell evenly around the foot. That means fewer pressure points and a secure heel hold. The Core Custom liner has a snug alpine fit and PrimaLoft insulation, and it is fully customizable.
