According to Slingshot, the Coalition was the first board in the industry with chined rails, an edge that lets the board slide across uneven surfaces like butter for a looser, more playful feel. The combination of outline, tip shape and rocker is built to deliver endless amounts of grins, and the forgiving design makes it almost impossible to catch an edge. Over the years the board has proven itself as a true jibbing machine and is ready for any winch mission on the street. The core is an Atomic Wood Core with a soft flex, a continuous rocker gives a smooth curve, and a highly durable Ballistic base handles hard contact. Singleshot fusion sidewalls protect the edge and core, while carbon bedrock inserts hold the bindings firmly in place. All materials are, according to Slingshot, sustainably sourced.
