The Army Leather Patrol Mitt in olive is a warm, durable mitten with clever functions for alpine tours and long days in snow and cold.

The mitten builds on the Heli Ski concept but is worn inside the jacket sleeve thanks to a neoprene cuff. The palm and exposed surfaces are impregnated army goat leather, while the backhand is sewn in Hestra 3-layer dobby polyester melange. The insulation is G-Loft, a very thin 100% polyester fibre with high insulating capacity that stays warm even in wet weather, and inside sits a removable brushed-polyester fleece liner that can be swapped out so you can adjust the warmth. The seams in the palm face outwards for comfort and grip, and there are reinforcements at exposed spots. A strap with a Velcro closure at the cuff and elastic at the wrist give a close hold, while a finger loop, an eyelet and a carabiner make it easy to hang the mitten up.
