The Hestra Alpine Short GORE-TEX is a hardwearing five-finger ski glove with a short cuff and a GORE-TEX membrane that makes it waterproof and highly breathable. The colour is Black.
The glove combines impregnated goat leather with Hestra's flextron softshell on the backhand, a four-way stretch of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane that allows freedom of movement. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps the hands dry, while Fiberfil polyester insulation together with foam provides warmth. The brushed-polyester lining sits soft against the skin. The short neoprene cuff with hook-and-loop closure fits snugly and slides easily under the jacket sleeve. The GORE-TEX membrane is both waterproof and breathable, so perspiration can escape while snow and water are kept out, and the attachments for handcuffs keep the two gloves together. The combination of leather and softshell provides both grip and mobility, and the foam in the construction adds warmth without making the glove bulky. The glove is produced at Hestra's own Pinghu Huashen factory in Shanghai and is made for active downhill skiing and other winter activities where a waterproof, supple grip matters.
