It is built for all terrain and conditions: it floats in powder, handles heavy, chopped-up snow and carves on hardpack. The topsheet is grey and the base is blue.

The two sheets add stability without adding much weight. Titanal is equally strong in all directions, so the ski holds an edge and stays calm through bumps and changeable snow. The core is poplar between two layers of fibreglass. Poplar gives flex and pop and absorbs vibration, and the fibreglass adds strength, stiffness and durability. The elliptical sidecut has a long radius underfoot and a shorter radius in the tip and tail. Underfoot the ski pivots quickly, and the tip and tail make turns easy to start. The flat tail gives stability and drive, while the tip and tail rocker makes slashing the ski around feel natural.

Two Titanal sheets for stability on edge and in changeable snow

Poplar core between two layers of fibreglass

Elliptical sidecut for quick pivots and easy turn entry

Mustache Flex: stiff underfoot, progressive in the tip and tail

Tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot and a flat tail

Sintered base

Flex 9 on Faction's scale from 1 to 10

For advanced and expert skiers

134-106-124 mm sidecut, 19 m radius and 2050 g per ski at 178 cm

The Dancer 106 Ti is at its best on freeride days when the snow changes from powder to hardpack.
