Faction made it for skiers who want a ski with a more easygoing feel. The construction is forgiving and has no Titanal.

The core is poplar between two layers of fibreglass. Poplar gives flex and pop and absorbs vibration, and the fibreglass adds strength, stiffness and durability. The elliptical sidecut has a long radius underfoot and a shorter radius in the tip and tail. Underfoot the ski pivots quickly, and the tip and tail make turns easy to start at any speed. Mustache Flex is stiff underfoot for solid edge hold. The flex in the tip and tail is smooth and progressive, so the ski soaks up bumps and loose snow. The profile combines tip and tail rocker, traditional camber underfoot and a flat tail for edge hold and easy turn entry.

Salomon Strive 11 bindings mounted at the factory

Poplar core between two layers of fibreglass

Elliptical sidecut for easy turn entry at any speed

Mustache Flex: stiff underfoot, progressive in the tip and tail

Tip and tail rocker, camber underfoot and a flat tail

Sintered base

Flex 7 on Faction's scale from 1 to 10

For intermediate to expert skiers

118-79-107 mm sidecut at 172 cm

The Dancer 79 SYS is a ready-to-ski set for the piste when you want a ski that is easy to carve.
